Under the Lemon Tree

By Cesar Cruz

Under the Lemon Tree, sweetness burns; pain shows itself in the faces of people we meet, and they stain art into the walls of our minds. To be young and learning to love is a guttural experience, it will tear you apart, and it will sting, and you will cry. Perspective is all there is to gain, when you lose everything, over and over again.

Cesar began writing poetry at 13, he would write to the first person he fell in love with, when that love was lost, he was left with lessons to learn. Under the Lemon Tree is the poetry written over the course of these lessons. Under the Lemon Tree is pain and reflection.

Each chapter is placed in the chronological order of these lessons. People and different kinds of love and affection.

Under the Lemon Tree is currently going through light processes of publication. Pls help
